The Great Satanic Swindle is a true-crime folk-horror performance lecture I’ll be performing around the UK over the next few months, and this is its full debut. The story of Derry Mainwaring-Knight, who took in more than £250,000 from the great and the good of 1980s Sussex to aid his magickal battle against the forces of Satan. Part comedy, part tearjerker, all true, The Great Satanic Swindle is a genuinely unbelievable tale of friendship, Satanic Panic, and what it means to believe. £8-12. TICKETS AVAIL NOW.

Uncanny Landscapes Season 2 coming this week
After an unexpectedly lengthy hiatus due to family and work commitments, the new season of Uncanny Landscapes Podcast begins this week with episodes coming up featuring author Elizabeth Bennett, hauntology icon Drew Mulholland, a series on London sound artists, psychogeographic jazz duo Group Listening and much more! Uncanny Landscapes is a series of interviews with contemporary landscape practitioners who explore a broad understanding of unheimlich as the foundational relationship we, today, have with our surroundings.
Season 2 Episode 1 features Elizabeth Bennett, author of Performing Folk Songs: Affect, Landscape and Repertoire about the transformational relationship between folk song and place.
